Twirlla™ Wooden Rattle
Product description
This recall involves a painted wooden rattle that is approximately 15 centimetres (6 inches) long. It has a yellow ball at each end, two U-shaped pieces (red and pale blue) and an orange bead in the centre with a green centre post connecting all pieces. The moving parts make noise when they come together.
Hazard identified
The toy's U-shaped parts can break, posing a choking hazard.
Manhattan Toy received one report of a Canadian retailer receiving broken product.
The US CPSC and Health Canada have not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of this rattle.

Number sold
Approximately 145 of the recalled products were sold in Canada at baby and gift and specialty stores and online at ManhattanToy.com.
In the United States, approximately 1,370 of the recalled products were distributed.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from March 2011 through July 2011 in Canada and the United States.
Place of origin
Manufactured in Thailand.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately take the rattles away from children and return them to the store where purchased for a refund. Consumers may also contact Manhattan Toy for instructions on receiving a replacement item or a full refund.
