Product description
This recall involves two kinds of "Style My Room, by Justice" disco lamps: the black disco light (Image 1) and the star disco light (Image 2). The recalled plastic lamps are about 10 centimetres (4 inches) tall and consist of a spherical multi-coloured disco light atop a black base with an on/off switch on the side.
Hazard identified
The electrical wiring in the lamp base can become exposed and damaged or the lamp can overheat, posing an electrical shock or burn hazard to consumers.
Tween Brands has received one report that a consumer received an electric shock while handling the lamp. Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these disco lights.
Number sold
Approximately 500 units of the affected products were sold at Justice stores across Canada.
Time period sold
The affected products were sold from May 2012 to November 2012.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using and unplug the recalled lights. Consumers who purchased the product at a Justice store or online may return the recalled light to the nearest Justice store for a full refund.
