Product description
This recall involves rectangular glass railing panel inserts of various sizes. The affected glass panels were sold wrapped in plain brown paper with the words "Imperial Manufacturing Group", the glass item number, size, description and the words "Made in Canada" identified on the box.
The affected glass panels are marked as "Tri-Temp Safety Tempered CAN/CGSB-12.1-M90" in the bottom right corner.

Hazard identified
The product does not comply with the CAN/CGSB-12.1-M90 standard as it is not fully tempered. When broken, the glass may pose a laceration hazard to consumers as it may break in shards rather than small pieces.
Health Canada has received one report of un-tempered glass. No injuries have been reported.
Neither Tri-Temp Glass Inc. nor Imperial Manufacturing Group has received any consumer report of incidents or injuries related the use of this glass.
Number sold
Approximately 1,512 units of the affected glass panels were sold at various retailers across Canada.
Time period sold
The affected glass panels were sold from January 2015 to April 4th, 2016.
