Issue

On certain fire trucks, a software problem could cause the drive pump transfer case to disengage. If this happens, there could be a sudden loss of power to the wheels.

Safety risk

A sudden loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. This could also delay emergency response and increase the risk of injury.

Corrective actions

E-ONE will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your fire truck to a dealership to update the vehicle multiplex software.
