Transport Canada Recall - 2026190 - FORD

Issue: On certain vehicles, the wiring for the sun visors may not have been manufactured and/or installed properly. As a result, the wiring could become damaged and cause a short circuit or electrical arcing (sparks). Safety Risk: A short circuit or electrical arcing can create the risk of a fire or injury. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the sun visor wiring harness. The dealer will also update the body control module software.
