Transport Canada Recall - 2026150 - PREVOST

Issue: On certain buses, the recall repairs completed by a Prevost service center during recall SR24-33 (Transport Canada recall no. 2024-521) may not have been done correctly. As a result, a second inspection and/or repair is required. On certain buses, the passenger seat belts may not extend from the retracted position. If this happens, the seat belts can't be used. Safety Risk: Not wearing a seat belt can increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Prevost will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your bus to a Prevost service center to inspect and, if necessary, replace the passenger seat belts.
