Issue

Issue: On a small number of vehicles, the bolts that secure the left and right rear seat belts or the locking brackets for the rear bench seat backrest may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the bolts could loosen and damage the seat belt webbing(s). Additionally, loose cargo in the luggage compartment could contact and move the rear bench seat backrest in a crash. Safety Risk: A seat belt that doesn't work properly and/or a seat backrest that moves could create an increased risk of injury in a crash. Additionally, cargo that moves in a crash could create a risk of injury. Corrective Action: To reduce the safety risk, Rolls-Royce recommends not using the rear seats to transport passengers or carrying cargo in the luggage compartment until the recall repairs have been completed. Rolls-Royce will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, tighten or replace the bolts. Additionally, the dealer will inspect and, if necessary, replace the left and right rear seat belts.
