Issue
On certain motorcycles, the recall repairs completed by a Triumph dealer during recall SRAN 627 (Transport Canada recall no. 2024-618) may not be effective. As a result, a second repair may be required. On certain motorcycles, the wiring for the alternator may not be routed correctly. As a result, the wiring could become damaged by movement and heat and cause a short circuit.
Safety risk
A short circuit can create the risk of a fire.
Corrective actions
Triumph will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to replace the wiring for the alternator.
