Issue
On certain vehicles, the nut securing the oil filter to the turbocharger may not have been tightened properly. As a result, oil could leak onto hot components in the engine compartment.
Safety risk
Oil that leaks onto hot components can create the risk of a fire.
Corrective actions
To reduce the safety risk, Ferrari advises not to drive your vehicle until the recall repairs are completed. Ferrari will notify owners by mail and advise you to contact a dealer to arrange to have the vehicle towed to the dealership. The dealer will inspect and, if necessary, tighten the oil filter connection nut.
