Issue
On a small number of RV trailers, a carbon monoxide detector may not have been installed during production. As a result, occupants may not be alerted if there's a carbon monoxide buildup inside the trailer.
Safety risk
A buildup of carbon monoxide inside the trailer could result in asphyxiation or carbon monoxide poisoning.
Corrective actions
Bontrager Industries will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to install a carbon monoxide detector.
