Transport Canada Recall - 2025302 - FOREST RIVER
Brand(s)
Summary
Affected products
2025 | FOREST RIVER | WILDWOOD, 2025 | FOREST RIVER | SALEM
Issue
On certain RV trailers, the entry gate for the back deck could become unlatched and stick open while the trailer is being towed.
Safety risk
An entry gate that opens while the trailer is being towed could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective actions
To reduce the safety risk, Forest River advises that, when towing the trailer, you should install a zip tie in the hole of the entry gate latch until the recall repairs have been completed. Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to remove the strut on the entry gate, and to add a warning decal and a tethered pin.
