Transport Canada Recall - 2025022 - FORD

Issue: On certain vehicles, the 12 V battery may be defective. As a result, the engine could stall. This could also cause the engine not to restart after a start-stop event and the hazard lights may not work. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of power to the wheels or a vehicle that doesn't restart after a start-stop event could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, hazard lamps that don't work could make the vehicle less visible and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the 12 V battery.
