Issue

Issue: On certain trucks, the bolts for the steering arm and/or tie rods may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the bolts could loosen and separate. If this happens, there could be a loss of steering control. Note: This recall only affects certain trucks equipped with 20k steer axles. Safety Risk: A loss of steering control could create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: PACCAR will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to replace the affected bolts and tighten them properly.
