Issue
On certain motorcycles, the head tube may not be properly welded to the frame. As a result, the weld could crack and cause an unexpected change in handling and control. Note: For the Z7 model, only the Z7 Hybrid model is affected by this recall.
Safety risk
An unexpected change in handling and control could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective actions
None of the affected motorcycles have been delivered to customers. Kawasaki will instruct dealers to repair the frame before each motorcycle is delivered.
