Issue
On certain refrigerated trailers, the support gear bracing mounts may not have been properly welded. As a result, it could lead to the trailer collapsing when parked.
Safety risk
A trailer that collapses suddenly could increase the risk of injury.
Corrective actions
To reduce the safety risk, Great Dane advises to inspect the support gear bracing mount welds for cracks. If cracks are found, you should not use the trailer without a tractor attached or without safety stands in place until the recall repairs are completed. Great Dane will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, repair the support gear bracing mount welds.
