Transport Canada Recall - 2024651 - WIDESCAPE

Issue: On certain snowmobiles, the emergency stop switch may be the wrong colour. Canadian regulations require the emergency stop switch to be red. Safety Risk: An emergency stop switch that's the wrong colour could delay you from stopping the snowmobile in an emergency and increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Widescape recommends you to always use the wrist-strap emergency switch until the recall repairs are completed. Widescape will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your snowmobile to a dealership to install a red cover on the emergency stop switch.
