Issue
On certain motorcycles, the wiring for the alternator may not be routed correctly. As a result, the wiring could become damaged by movement and heat and cause a short circuit.
Safety risk
A short circuit can create the risk of a fire.
Corrective actions
Triumph will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to install a wire alignment clip. If the wiring is damaged, it will be repaired or replaced.
