Issue:
On one vehicle, under certain conditions, a software problem could cause a loss of power to the wheels.
Note: This recall only affects certain RAM ProMaster battery electric vehicles.
Safety Risk:
A sudden loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
FCA Canada will notify the owner by mail and advise them to take their vehicle to a dealership to update the motor control processor (MCPA) software.
