Issue
On certain personal transportation and light-utility vehicles, the rod that connects the brake pedal could become bent when excessive force is applied to the pedal. If this happens, the brakes may not fully apply and could cause reduced braking. Note: This recall only affects certain vehicles equipped with hydraulic brakes.
Safety risk
Reduced braking can cause increased stopping distances and create the risk of a crash.
Corrective actions
Textron will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the hydraulic brake linkage rod.
