Transport Canada Recall - 2024465 - HEARTLAND

Issue: On one RV trailer, the generator intake vent may be routed incorrectly. As a result, the generator could overheat. Note: This recall only affects RV trailers equipped with an optional Onan 5.5 kW generator. Safety Risk: A generator that overheats could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Heartland RV advises you not to use the generator until the recall repairs have been completed. Heartland RV will notify the owner by mail and advise them to take their trailer to a dealership to reroute the generator intake vent.
