Issue: _x000D_ On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the transmission to become damaged. As a result, the vehicle could move when it's parked and the parking brake isn't applied. _x000D_ _x000D_ Safety Risk: _x000D_ A parked vehicle that moves suddenly could create the risk of an injury or a crash. _x000D_ _x000D_ Corrective Actions: _x000D_ Hyundai will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the transmission. The dealer will also update the transmission control unit software. To reduce the safety risk, Hyundai recommends that you should always use the parking brake when you park.
