Transport Canada Recall - 2024386 - MACK

Issue: _x000D_ On one truck, the ball stud on the lift axle tie rod(s) may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the stud could fail and cause the tie rod(s) to separate from the axle. _x000D_ Note: This recall only affects a truck equipped with a Hendrickson Composilite steerable lift axle. _x000D_ _x000D_ Safety Risk: _x000D_ A tie rod that separates could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of injury. _x000D_ _x000D_ Corrective Actions: _x000D_ Mack will notify the owner by mail and advise them to take their truck to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the lift axle tie rod(s).
