Issue:_x000D_ On certain vehicles, a sensor in the steering gear may not have been calibrated properly. As a result, the steering wheel could suddenly turn from side to side by itself while turning. If this happens, there could be a loss of steering control. _x000D_ _x000D_ Safety Risk: _x000D_ A loss of steering control could create the risk of a crash. _x000D_ _x000D_ Corrective Actions: _x000D_ Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the power steering control module (PSCM) software.
