Issue: _x000D_ On certain vehicles, the lock ring that secures the fuel pump to the fuel tank may not have been locked properly. As a result, the lock ring could loosen and create a fuel leak. _x000D_ _x000D_ Safety Risk: _x000D_ A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. _x000D_ _x000D_ Corrective Actions: _x000D_ General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, lock the fuel tank lock ring.
