Issue
Issue:
On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the main contactors for the high-voltage battery to open. If this happens, there could be a sudden loss of power to the wheels.
Safety Risk:
A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the battery management system software.
