Issue
On certain CNG transit buses, the low-pressure hoses for the compressed natural gas (CNG) system may not meet the requirements of Canadian regulations. As a result, natural gas could leak from the hoses.
Safety risk
A CNG leak can create the risk of a fire and/or an explosion.
Corrective actions
Vicinity Motor Corporation will notify owners in writing and provide you with instructions to inspect and, if necessary, replace the CNG system low-pressure hoses. To reduce the safety risk, Vicinity Motor Corporation recommends not to use the bus until the recall repairs have been completed.
