Issue
Issue:
On certain RV trailers, the circuit board for the LED light rings on the cooktop knobs could fail. As a result, the wiring and/or LED lights could overheat and melt.
Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall no. 2024-050. Trailers that were repaired under that recall don't require this repair. This recall only affects RV trailers equipped with certain Suburban cooktops.
Safety Risk:
Wiring and/or lights that overheat and melt can create the risk of a fire.
Corrective Actions:
Winnebago will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to disable or remove the LED light rings. To reduce the safety risk, Winnebago recommends that you should disconnect the power for your trailer when it's not used.
