Issue:
On certain trucks, the fuse for the methane detection system may not have been installed during production. As a result, the methane detector may not work.
Note: This recall only affects trucks equipped with a natural gas engine.
Safety Risk:
A methane detection system that doesn't work could increase the risk of fire or injury.
Corrective Actions:
Mack will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to install the methane detection system fuse.
