Transport Canada Recall - 2024164 - GRAND DESIGN RV

Issue: On certain RV trailers, the U-bolts that attach the axles to the suspension may have been over-tightened. As a result, an axle could slide back on the leaf spring. This could cause poor handling and lead to a loss of control. Safety Risk: A loss of control could create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Grand Design RV will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to replace the U-bolts. The dealer will also inspect and, if necessary, replace the leaf springs.
