Issue:
On certain motorcycles, the front spring strut may not have been manufactured correctly. As a result, the strut could fail. If this happens while riding, there could be a sudden loss of stability.
Safety Risk:
A loss of stability could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
BMW Motorrad will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the front spring strut.
