Issue
On one brush chipper trailer, cracks could develop on the surge brake drawbar. As a result, the drawbar could fail, and the trailer could separate from the tow vehicle.
Safety risk
A trailer that separates from the tow vehicle could create the risk of a crash.
Corrective actions
Vermeer will notify the owner by mail and advise them to take their brush chipper trailer to an authorized service facility to secure the trailer tongue.
