Issue:
On one truck, a software problem could cause the electronic stability control (ESC) system not to work correctly. As a result, the truck may not meet certain requirements of Canadian regulations.
Safety Risk:
An ESC system that doesn't work correctly could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) will notify the owner by mail and advise them to take their truck to a DTNA authorized service facility to reprogram the electronic control unit.
