Transport Canada Recall - 2023692 - MERCEDES-BENZ

Issue: On one vehicle, the wrong screws may have been used to secure high-pressure fuel pump during assembly. As a result, the high-pressure fuel pump and oil pump may not be properly sealed together. If this happens, fuel and oil could leak. Safety Risk: A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Additionally, an oil leak could create a hazard for other road users. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify the owner by mail and advise them to take their vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the high-pressure fuel pump.
