Transport Canada Recall - 2023641 - PREVOST

Issue:
On certain buses equipped with the optional driver assist system, the front radar sensor may be blocked by the front bumper trim panel. As a result, the system may not detect when there is an obstacle in front of the bus and would not automatically apply the brakes. The system may also activate automatically and apply the brakes without an obstacle.

Safety Risk:
Vehicle safety systems that do not work correctly could increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions:
Prevost will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your bus to a Prevost service center to inspect and, if necessary, replace the front bumper trim panel.
