Transport Canada Recall - 2023628 - MACK

Issue: Certain trucks may have been built without a quick release valve for the rear brakes. As a result, the rear brakes may release too slowly when the brake pedal is released. Canadian regulations require air brakes to release within a certain time. Safety Risk: Rear brakes that release too slowly could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Mack will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, install the quick release valves.
