Issue
On certain RV trailers, a window may be incorrectly marked as an emergency exit window. This could prevent or delay the occupants from escaping the trailer in an emergency.
Safety risk
A window that's incorrectly marked as an emergency exit could create confusion and increase the risk of injury in an emergency.
Corrective actions
Jayco will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to replace the red handle and red screen knob with black ones. The dealer will also remove the exit label.
