Issue:
On certain vehicles, the material of the roller sunshade for the panoramic sunroof may not meet the flammability requirements of Canadian regulations.
Safety Risk:
In a fire, fabric that doesn't meet flammability requirements could increase the risk of injury.
Corrective Actions:
Volkswagen will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to apply a flame retardant on the roller sunshade.
