Transport Canada Recall - 2023567 - FOREST RIVER
Brand(s)
Summary
Affected products
2023 | COACHMEN | CONCORD
Issue
On a small number of motorhomes, the suspension that was installed could cause an incorrect driveshaft angle. As a result, the driveshaft could fail and cause the rear wheels to lock up. The driveshaft could also separate from the vehicle.
Safety risk
Rear wheels that lock suddenly could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a driveshaft that separates from a vehicle could create a hazard for other road users and increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective actions
None of the affected motorhomes have been sold to customers. Forest River will instruct dealers to replace the rear upper control arms.
