Issue
Issue:
On certain buses, the fasteners for the rear emergency exit door latch could loosen and detach. If this happens, and the door is pushed, it could open suddenly.
Safety Risk:
An emergency exit door that opens suddenly could increase the risk of injuries.
Corrective Actions:
Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development. DTNA recommends that you should contact them immediately if you notice any missing bolts during your daily pre-trip inspection.
