Issue:_x000D_ On certain vehicles, the inflator for the side curtain airbag could rupture at the inflator weld joint and cause the side curtain airbag to inflate without a crash. _x000D_ _x000D_ Safety Risk:_x000D_ A side curtain airbag that inflates without a crash could create a risk of injury. _x000D_ _x000D_ Corrective Actions:_x000D_ General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the left and/or right-side curtain airbag(s).
