Issue
Issue:
On certain trucks, the remote fuel filter hoses may have been damaged during production. As a result, a fuel hose could disconnect and create a fuel leak. This could also cause the engine to stall while driving.
Note: This recall only affects trucks equipped with an L9/PX-9 engine.
Safety Risk:
A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Additionally, a sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
PACCAR and/or Cummins will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a Cummins authorized service centre to install improved fuel filter hoses.
