Issue
Issue:
On certain motorcycles, a screw that attaches the rear shock absorber adjuster could break. If this happens, the shock absorber adjuster could move and damage the rear tire. This could lead to a sudden loss of air pressure and a tire failure.
Safety Risk:
A tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Harley-Davidson will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to replace the rear shock adjuster screw.
