Issue
On a small number of MC20 Cielo models, the windshield frame mounting stud may be missing sealant. As a result, the vehicles may not meet the roof crush resistance and side impact protection requirements of Canadian regulations.
Safety risk
A vehicle that doesn't meet certain crash protection requirements could increase the risk of injury in a crash.
Corrective actions
Maserati will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect windshield frame mounting stud, and install sealant on it if necessary.
