Issue:
On certain RV trailers, the axles may have been installed backwards. As a result, the trailer brakes may not work properly. This can cause increased stopping distances and make your vehicle unstable while braking.
Safety Risk:
Trailer brakes that don't work can increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to inspect the installation of the axles. The axles will be reinstalled correctly, if necessary.
