Transport Canada Recall - 2023427 - ROSENBAUER

Issue: On a small number of fire trucks equipped with a Warn VR EVO winch, water could leak into the remote control for the winch. If this happens, the winch could activate on its own without a user input. Note: This recall only affects remote controls with wireless capability that aren't waterproof. Safety Risk: A winch that activates on its own could create a risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Rosenbauer will notify owners by mail and advise you to contact Warn Industries for instructions on how to turn off the wireless function of the winch. Warn will also offer a replacement corded-only remote if your remote is damaged.
