Issue: On certain vehicles, the wiring to the engine ignition coil could break or lose connection and cause an engine misfire. If this happens and you continue to operate the vehicle, the exhaust system could overheat. Safety Risk: An engine misfire could cause the exhaust system to overheat and catch fire. Corrective Actions: Segway advises not to use your vehicle until the recall repairs have been completed. Segway will notify owners by email and mail, and advise you take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the ignition coil wire harness. The technician will also install a double-layered exhaust pipe, a fire fault alarm and engine control unit protection.
