Issue
On certain G5 electric buses built on a Ford chassis, a problem with the vehicle control software could cause overheating in the high-voltage battery pack and electrical arcing (sparks) in the charging circuit. Note: This recall only affects buses equipped with Ecotuned Technologies MK3 kit with software version 1139 or lower.
Safety risk
Overheating of the high-voltage battery and electrical arcing can create the risk of fire.
Corrective actions
MicroBird will notify owners by mail and advise you to advise you to contact Ecotuned Technologies, who will make arrangements to install a software update.
