Issue

Issue:
On certain G5 electric buses built on a Ford chassis, a problem with the vehicle control software could cause overheating in the high-voltage battery pack and electrical arcing (sparks) in the charging circuit.
Note: This recall only affects buses equipped with Ecotuned Technologies MK3 kit with software version 1139 or lower.

Safety Risk:
Overheating of the high-voltage battery and electrical arcing can create the risk of fire.

Corrective Actions:
MicroBird will notify owners by mail and advise you to advise you to contact Ecotuned Technologies, who will make arrangements to install a software update.
