Issue:
On one RV trailer, the safety stop for the outdoor griddle may not have been installed. As a result, the griddle can be stowed with the propane hose still attached, and the burner turned on.
Safety Risk:
An outdoor griddle that is stowed away with the burner turned on could create a fire risk.
Corrective Actions:
Forest River will notify the owner by mail and advise them to take their trailer to a dealership to install an elbow fitting to prevent the griddle from being stowed while the propane line is still attached.
