Transport Canada Recall - 2023331 - TIFFIN

Issue: On certain motorhomes, the chassis controller may not have proper circuit protection. As a result, if the air conditioner (A/C) compressor fails, the main fuse could blow and cause a loss of power to the ignition switch. If this happens, there will be a loss of electrical power and the engine will shut off. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of power could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Tiffin will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to install a wiring harness with an inline fuse between the chassis controller and the A/C compressor. This will prevent a loss of power to the ignition switch if the A/C compressor fails.
