Issue
Issue:
On certain school buses with hydraulic brakes, the brake pressure switch could leak. If this happens, the brake switch could short circuit.
Safety Risk:
A short circuit can cause wiring to overheat and create the risk of a fire.
Corrective Actions:
Navistar will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your school bus to an authorized service facility to replace the brake pressure switch. If there is brake fluid found on the brake pressure switch connector or fuse, the wire harness will also be replaced.
